Cornstarch cookies are soft, buttery, and naturally gluten-free. Made with just 3 ingredients, they are light, melt-in-your-mouth treats perfect for tea time or as a simple dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cornstarch
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk

Optional (for flavor):

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Gradually add cornstarch, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll dough into small balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  • Flatten slightly with a fork.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the edges are just turning golden.
  • Cool on a wire rack before serving.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine butter and condensed milk until smooth.

Notes

  • Dough should be soft but not sticky. Add a little more cornstarch if needed.
  • Chill dough for 15–20 minutes to prevent spreading.
  • Cookies stay fresh in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Great base for adding coconut, chocolate chips, or citrus zest.
